This lovely Central Davis 2 bedroom/1 bath duplex apartment is available immediately for a lease takeover (lease expires on July 24, and it will be up to you to renew). In order to take over the lease email me that you are interested and I can show the place. Then you just have to apply for this rental through Zabace, the property management company overseeing the rental. You can see the application here:
This place is in a truly amazing location on a very quiet side street off F street. It s a ten minute walk from downtown Davis, a short walk to a community park, and within walking distance of the Davis Food Co-op and Nugget Market. The apartment has a large sunny living room area that connects to a eat-in kitchen. There are two good-sized bedrooms. We use one of the bedrooms for an office, but they re about the same size. Both bedrooms have built in closets and decent daylight. The bathroom has a full tub and two built-in storage cabinets. There are also several closets in the common area and a garage for additional storage.
You get access to half of a two car garage, shared with the other duplex tenant neighbors. They are quiet and polite.
The back area includes a small covered patio area, and the grassy front yard has a big gorgeous old tree and a small and fruitful orange tree. This time of year the orange tree is producing more sweet oranges than we can eat. The landlords provide a bi-weekly lawn maintenance service to keep the lawn and shrubbery in great shape. It comes with a washer and dryer.
All-in-all this is a great rental property and we ve lived here very happily for just over two years. We ll be sad to say goodbye to this sweet apartment.

Bills: Tenant is responsible for paying the PG&E bill directly, and paying the water bill through Zabace, which is aprox $80-$100/month depending on your water use.
Pets: Pets are allowed, but require a pet deposit that you negotiate with the landlord directly. You can apply and describe your pet(s).
