Enrolling a student here takes forever that’s one the other they never notice if a student walks out of their school building. Another is that they never help when you call regarding information on YOUR STUDENT. while other schools do it just fine but somehow this school always responds you with “we aren’t allowed to do that or the law says etc.” enrolled my student somewhere else finally.

My 3 kids have been attending this school. The experience was consistently good. Mr Miller, Mrs Pearia, Mrs. Sheldon, Mrs. Cracker, Mrs. Knapp, Mrs. Stewart are always attentive to our kids' academic and emotional needs, encouraging, kind, and respectful. The EAP students do get necessary academic challenge and support. The music teachers are awesome. We are not into arts so we prefer strong academics over arts. I am glad that HiCap kids are clustered together: it's easier for them to find friends with common views. If they brag about being "high cap". I am going to surprise you: kids do brag about whatever they can find suitable to brag about: Adidas shoes, dad's Tesla, summar voyage to Paris or that they can kick their classmate in the face. Maybe, it's better when kids brag about being smart than when they are proud of being rich and shallow.

There are many problems with this school - but here are a few. First of all - they will select who they will help instead of helping all students. Second, they have biases towards some people but against others. Third, there is constant surveillance - there is no privacy at all, even at home. Fourth, the constant bullying - I haven't even gone a week in school without getting bullied; the school does not care. Fifth, the EdTechs - I-Ready drains kids, Savvas overcharges schools, and Lightspeed Systems spies on children - collecting their data - while no one pays attention. Although these Edtechs are at a district level - teachers are the ones who decide when how, and almost never - why, we use these edtechs.
