Heritage elementary ISD was the worst school experience my son has had. He is a special education (SPED) student who was thriving and making progress at his previous school, but after transferring here, he experienced significant regression.I was very concerned that his IEP was not being properly followed. He wasn’t receiving the proper support. The school also allowed him to take naps during the day rather than keeping him engaged in learning and educational activities.As a parent, it was heartbreaking to see the progress he had worked so hard to achieve begin to decline. I would not recommend this school to families of students who rely on special education services and IEP support. Also, the many times I visited the school, there was always fights going on between parents and the staff, parents claiming their kids are being severely bullied at the school and the staff could care less. A big NO.

The school lacks communication and professional teaching skills. Lack of things kids can do beside 21st century. This school do not offer alot compared to other middle schools in Spring ISD.

I taught at this school for 4 years. It’s the worst place to work. The students are all thugs and the parents can care less. Social promotion is the norm. The district office is spineless.
