Description
Private, comfortable living among the treetops in this exceptionally designed 8-sided retreat. The spacious wrap around deck extends the living space with views including Grand Manan, Lubec Village and Campobello Island. A wide tree lined driveway gradually ascends to a large Gambrel Garage on your right and then ascends further to what is referred to as the Mountain House Get Away. The home has been a summer rental for the past several years after having been a year-round residence. Quoting a house guest, "... the house is both spacious and cozy" and "... a perfect place to relax between hikes". The wood finishes in the open concept living space give the house a warm, relaxing feel with plenty of natural light and southern exposure from twelve-foot double sliders. Enjoy the convenience of one floor living with two bedrooms, a central laundry with a central vacuum, and conveniently located bathroom. A bonus second level living space with 360-degree views can be used for guests, office, or however you desire. The garage is nestled below the hilltop among a mixture of tall Birch and evergreens. It has room for three to four vehicles or if you prefer plenty of space for trailers and "toys". The roomy second level has plenty of space for more storage, work areas, hobbies, or could be finished into an in-law apartment or rental.
