I think that Crestview is one of the best schools around. They may put a lot into sports but every teacher I have ever had encourages me to be as good as I can be academicaly. They push us in everyway and I wouldnt want to go to any other school. The money that is going into our sports programs is raised by them and our academics are great. The only reason French was canceled was because Mrs. Bockman retired. Crestview is an amazing school!

This school lacks the motivation and care needed for children to thrive. It is one of those schools that, it seems, children are just a number to their metrics.We began the school year with my child who was newly diagnosed as Autistic. I called them superintendent to try to set up a meeting to discuss a 504 plan, went unanswered, and had to call back several weeks later to get an answer. I was then told that it wasn't up to me to set this up, it was up to the school. He said they would monitor my child for 6 weeks and then contact me with their decision on whether she needed accommodations. Since then, I have never received a call or any communication from the superintendent again and messages to him have gone unanswered. Several months into the year, my child came home and was in tears about how her teacher had handled a situation. I gave the teacher a call and had the conversation turn into a discussion about my child's schoolwork and falling behind, and this teacher tried to manipulate the situation by questioning our home life and my parenting over this.. until I pointed out that this is what a 504 plan or an IEP wpuld be for, and if she had concerns regarding my child's schoolwork that she should discuss it with the superintendent. To which she immediately came to his defense, saying he had discussed this already with her and given her messages regarding it to relay to me in this moment-- an unplanned moment, mind you. The whole situation was just ridiculous and went unresolved because you can not question staff in this school without being manipulated and lowkey made to look like you're crazy or a bad parent.I also recently called on a few instances. Once to notify the school that my child had received a drawing from a student of a person with their throat slit and blood everywhere. This child had told mine to not show this to anyone, but she did bring it to me and I brought this concern to them. I also called because my youngest child had made comments about self-harm after deciding he does not want to attend the school anymore regarding bullying. I called to see if he could speak with the guidance counselor at least once a week and have someone to speak with, as our in-network therapist does not operate outside of school hours, as missing time for appointments with my autistic child has led to many issues with this school. These calls have gone unanswered and unresolved as well.In general, my advice would be to not send your children here.

This school is amazing and great socially the teachers and principals are amazing.
