If you have an elementary aged student, it is literally worth moving to Dauphin Island to go to the school… DI elementary is far superior to the private school my kids went to in Atlanta… My daughter is in fifth grade and testing at eighth grade level math. The staff and leadership are exceptional. The school is called “the little schoolhouse on the Sand dunes”, and as a side note it is also the cleanest educational facility I’ve seen.

"Neighbors aren’t very friendly and don’t care about if their pets run freely. I constantly have to watch for dogs to make sure mine don’t get attacked "

"Lived here for 20 years, hated to leave. Great access to water. Deep Sea Fishing the best, scuba diving, swimming, skiing and recreation for the entire family we are all going to miss. "
