Description

Welcome to 809 Walnut St - a fantastic move-in ready home that has been completely renovated with stylish upgrades. This beautifully finished home is located on a quiet street in the desirable east end of town. As you walk to the front door, you are greeted by a quaint front porch and trendy front door. As you enter the home, you walk into a spacious foyer and notice the refinished original oak hardwood floors throughout the first floor of the home. As we go right from the foyer, we enter a very large family room complete with original built-ins and a new electric fireplace. From the family room, we walk into the updated eat-in kitchen where we will find plentiful cabinet space with new real wood soft close cabinets, gorgeous granite, and high-end slate appliances. From the kitchen, you can access the basement or a bedroom off the kitchen, which would be a fantastic location for a home office. From the kitchen, you also have access to your spacious covered deck with a birds-eye view of the town! As we walk back up the hallway toward the front door, we go to the right and find a beautifully tiled full bathroom and stairs to the two rooms upstairs - a bedroom and a bonus room that can be used as a bedroom. We go back to the first floor where we go toward the foyer and head right toward two more bedrooms and a full bath. The home also has a half bath in a very spacious partially finished basement. From the basement, you can exit the home onto a covered patio where you will find plenty of yard space, a large driveway, and your 3 car garage. This home is located close to both business RT 30 and the bypass. Also, the funding for a complete renovation of the Coatesville train station has been approved and both SEPTA and Amtrak have committed to providing service, which makes for convenient rail travel to Harrisburg or Center City upon its completion.

  • Fpamiller
"People are always walking dogs my my neighborhood and it's quite family friendly. They will stop to chat and be friendly."
  • Tamill M.
"I live in this neighborhood of coatesville. A lot of nosey people but for the most part I minds my business and stay to myself. It’s not that bad for me. My neighbors are not bad we get along for the most part. We can borrow food from each other when needed. Parking may be a little scarce. Get togethers could be a little difficult due to parking. Not enough parks for the visitors. You get some bad neighbors after a while but nothing to bad if so you just live with it or move to another location but I feel Coatesville is becoming better day by day. Family and friends are coming together to make it a better community. They have big plans for Coatesville and I’m excited to see what’s in store for our future children. The kids today have a absolutely nothing to do other then school. Schools have after school programs for parents who work a little later to help the kids with homework and school work. I feel safe in my neighborhood because I know almost everybody or know a family member. Mostly everybody in Coatesville know each other or a family member. Unless the person may not be from around the area."
  • Jenheacock
"Great neighborhood. Friendly and everyone watches out for one another! Lots of dogs in the neighborhood and we all look out for each other’s in an instance in which they get lost etc"
  • Beemc1
"There are parks that allow dog walking. They provide litter bags to make it easy to pick up dog mess. "
  • shallock
"Beautiful area, quiet, and the neighbors are nice. However, the roads are very narrow and windy, and fairly treacherous in inclement weather. 4wd or AWD is a must if you need to get around in the wintertime. "
  • Heather M.
"My mom has lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years staying with until I find a 2 bedroom it is quiet and in the woods peaceful I guess "
  • Alyssa P.
"The Coatesville school district is a last resort and many families use private school. The high taxes don’t line up with this. However, home prices are relatively affordable. "
  • Joanna M.
"There is no dog parks near by. There is dog poop on sidewalks. Some like it, but others don’t. There are more cat people."
  • JoAnna M.
"I do not like this area And unsafe for kids and large families. People do not clean up after there dogs. Plus they do not respect people privacy."
  • Julia N.
"Their is not alot to do in Coatesville that's why I'm trying to move outside of Coatesville and the transportation system is horrible the buses are always late, no real activities for teenagers around here."
  • Jeremy S.
"It’s. Nice school district is a little rough but it’s a nice area there’s private schools for your kids "
  • Tyree
"schools and the community not sure about this area to much I work in valley and like the customers that live in the area"
  • Lfterrell
"I'm retired, but for my neighbors they all drive their POVs. public transportation is not convenient. "
  • lindsay B.
"Take me only 45 minutes to get to work every morning The commute to work isn't bad The bus is only crowded early in the mornings in the evenings not so much nice area to live in "
  • Rosebud41 s.
"My neighborhood has limited access to public transportation. You need a car to get around especially if you work in the city. It takes me 10 to 15 minutes to drive to Thorndale so that I can take the train to Center City which takes 1 hr 20 minutes to get there. "
  • Barbara M.
"It’s small out here a lot of places are walking distance but no big or major grocery stores in town. A car is necessary "
