Our family had a heartbreaking experience at Hart Elementary School. My granddaughter reported being mistreated by a school staff member who would come into her classroom. She told us she was pushed and spoken to in a demeaning manner, which caused her emotional distress.We met with the principal to express our concerns and expected the situation to be taken seriously and investigated. Unfortunately, we left feeling that our concerns were ignored and that no meaningful action was taken to protect my granddaughter.Every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported at school, especially by the adults who are entrusted with their care. I hope the school takes future complaints seriously and works to ensure that all students are treated with kindness and dignity.
