5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStarted out with an OK experience for Pre-K and K, 1st has been a mess. There is a huge divide between students because of race and income, which has led to constant bullying and racial issues that are not addressed appropriately or effectively. Teachers talk down to the students and disregard the parents' and their concerns. Little to no communication from the teachers and administration. Don't bother calling to talk to the front desk, she will be rude and short with you like it's an inconvenience to be calling her. On more than one occasion I have witnessed teachers being rude, yelling at students, or just ignoring the students and allowing a free-for all environment, which leads to the numerous injuries and behavioral issues. Teachers will not put the education of the student as a priority and don't follow up with parents enough.Parent Review4y ago8 Reviews - Joseph Arthur Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt's a shame there hasn't been a review in years for this school. Dr. Young has done a phenomenal job turning this school into an amazing place for the kids. My child just graduated up to OTHS last year and I have a younger child about to transition up to JAMS this year. The environment is welcoming and the class sizes are still small. They offer advanced courses for kids who need more challenge. The band program has grown and is wonderful, preparing the kids to play with the OTHS bands. Sports have grown and the boys' 8th grade basketball team made the state finals last year. They have a track team now as well. It has turned into an all around great school for the kids and I'd recommend them to anyone wanting to move into O'Fallon, especially if they're looking for a small class size alternative to District 90 that feeds into OTHS.Parent Review2y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 809 Pacific Xing.

"I’ve lived here 5 years. All of the neighborhoods have sidewalks and are walk-able. I like that the schools and churches are within the neighborhoods. For the town size, there is a large number of well maintained parks. Super cute downtown with lights, local restaurants, bars, and farmers market. Big bike trail system that spans multiple counties. Super close to St Louis- about a 20-25 min drive to Busch Stadium. Easy commuting distance to AFB- about 10 minutes. Good city council and police department. Good school system. "
