The one star I can give is for the teachers who work so hard while their hands are tied. This school is full of, allows, and supports violent and dangerous children. Their idea of a BIP is a joke. There are students who repeatedly beat up their paraeducators, attack students, throw harmful objects like desks and chairs around the classroom.....and then get rewarded with chocolate bars and iPad time after they settle down and are "safe" for a whole 15 minutes. It's a joke. I've seen it first hand as I worked as a paraeducator there but got tired of being bit, kicked, scratched...and watching it happen to others. Not to mention, my kids are going to be homeschooled. I won't put them in the line of fire any longer.

I gave the school all the info they needed about the medical condition of my child and they didn’t care. I even tried explaining to the teacher that she was experiencing symptoms from her medication and she didn’t believe me. Of course, my child didn’t want to learn anything because she was experiencing severe medical issues the entire time which were ignored.

Washington Middle school is a good school to go to. It has many activities to do and the staff and students are very friendly. Although the school is many years old, they are planning on rebuilding one next to the high school in a couple of years! The teachers and staff are always there for the students and help us out in many different ways! I recommend this school because there are many opportunities here and you can get a good education.
