This is a very unsafe school for kids teachers smoking with kids teachers cursing out children and calling them fat!! Mr.Reyes is the worst principal i have ever met and let me tell you I my self was not in good schools with bad principals but there's no words for him and how he is taking care of this school!! The students constantly have vapes and knives that don't get took away from these children!! Security guards on they phones constantly and my child has epilepsy they didn't even know how to take care of her and 13 girls jumped her and no one in that school did anything!!!!!Parent Review9mo ago3 Reviews - East Bronx Academy For The Future

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think East Bronx Academy is a great school because the teachers and staff expect you to bust your brain off to get better grades and also they help you overcome your struggles in any subject. Even though you are not doing the state test the expect you to work hard. I really like the classes because the teach really interesting stuff especially in History you learn a lot of American history that you never learn before. The school could improve on having more club after school for students who are interested to stay after school. Also I like the school because it's really interesting and the teachers really care about your feelings and how you communicate with others. They also got a Gay- Straight Alliance (GSA) club which I think is very important for students who being bullied because they are gay. I'm a student at East Bronx Academy and we as students care about each other. We make sure that no one feels like an outsider. Being new to East Bronx Academy is a good thing because the teachers introduce you to every body in the grade. Some schools don't introduce you to the teachers and the student and this makes you feel like someone who doesn't belong here.Other Review13y ago4 Reviews - School Of Science And Applied Learning

"I am close and usually take a walk within the area. My friends and families all live within. So I think I even like that end than where I’m presently."

"City is way too overrated and way too overpriced. A lot of crazy things happen here every day. Too much traffic everywhere, too overcrowded in sidewalks and transportation . Too many gangs here in schools and in streets. So many areas are dirty even transportation. Time is so fast here you feel like your in a rush"

"They can do whatever they want with their dogs. Let them poop anywhere. The city does nothing. Let the dogs walk without a leash. It’s a dog owners paradise. No rules enforced. Just do what you want. It’s the Bronx, no one cares about the Bronx. Not even the people that live here. "

"Crime is high, neighbors to themselves, no looking out for one another, looking to move elsewhere as soon as I can for the peace and safety of my family members, not having to worry as much as I do here will take a lot of stress away, been here for over 20 years and this is the worst it’s been in a long time, will not miss the unfriendliness I’ve experienced here for so long, definitely looking for something different than this lifestyle here, searching my options far away and hope this can happen sooner than later , this has been an opening eye experience and would rather not live though this again if I can help it"

"My commute is accessible but buses tend to run late which isn’t the best , there’s also a lot of people who don’t care about others commute so they tend to make bus drivers life hard which makes ours those who rely on the bus hard as well"
