I am proud to teach with such dedicated teachers. We have a great school community where parents and children are respected and included in school decisions and events like the Fall Festival and winter concert. We also have a fabulous music program where all 6th graders are learning an instrument, and all students get regular music instruction!

Elsie Allen has always had bad grades and especially with the school wanting to cut pay on teachers the education has decreased. My son says he is usually eager to learn but here at Elsie he no longer feels the strive because teachers don't teach well, or do they put in much effort. He even told me one of his teachers was even using AI to ask it to generate assignments for the class! Students also don't seem to want to learn as all they do is skip class, fight, talk etc. Don't even get me started on the special education! My son told me one time he saw one of the special neede kids NAKED at school in the classroom. The poor unattended student was NAKED and visible through his class window... and for safety? This school has gang members and, near the school they even marker it as SUREÑO TERRITORY. Not to mention the stabbing bot even a year ago... fights are rough but not so much this year. Teachers don't allow headphones not even for special needs kids and some yell at students for no reason! Unacceptable. Family engagement is the only "good" thing about this school which is mediocre anyway. I would NOT recommend this school at all, in fact I already transferred my kids from this horrible school and school district. I recommend you to do so as well.
