My daughter attended Kindergarten this past year at the ECC and I couldn't be happier! This school has exceeded my expectations for a half day Kindergarten. The teacher she had was outstanding, and the others I met through parental volunteering were just as wonderful on a personal level.

Hershey Elementary school does a wonderful job of balancing child encouragement, teacher support and administrator involvement. The PTO is first rate, giving their time, money and talents to provide support wherever it is needed. I am proud to be a parent of two daughters who have had the privilege of being a part of this school community.

As a former student, in terms of academics and availability of arts/humanities this school has some of the best opportunities around, with some exceptions in the more vocational learning courses. In terms of social support and resources for student assistance, this is where things lack. The disparity of low income students' success shown above should make that a bit more obvious as well. If you are of lower income and want to have your child succeed here be wary because it will be an unforgiving uphill struggle between other families and the administration themselves. In many ways it is pay to win for anything other than the base minimum.

The administration is dishonest and lacks integrity. They allow relentless bullying, falsified records, and IEPs. They deny children the appropriate interventions to appear like the school is superior to others.
