It was a bumpy ride I would say, the school made me feel like I had to be someone else in order to fit in but after learning my story was going to have a halt after 7th-grade year, I have finally found my school Cedar Grove Middle School, and that school is a 5-star school, and it's in supply N.C near the beach how peaceful it felt to know that I Found TRUE friends caring teachers excepted 1 but whatever, Grandview is still growing and even though I'm going to become a high schooler after this year, I know for a fact that when I'm married and move back I will definitely send my children to the school (for like one year I like the Beach!)

As a parent of two students who have gone through Hickory High School, I am saddened to say that I am very disappointed with the education that my second child has received. It's as if some of the teachers there do not care whether the students understand the material or not. The state needs to review the data and analyze the effectiveness of teachers who have a high percentage of students failing in their classrooms. It's one thing to know the material that you are supposed to teach and an entirely different thing to be able to teach it to fluency/mastery.

This school is the best around. All the teachers are invested in the betterment of children and the community. Hands down the best. Mrs. Marvin is the most sincere and helpful teacher I have ever experienced. She came to your house after hours and helped my son. I cannot say enough great things about this school!
