3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kid goes here and he hates it there is a teacher named Jennifer macios that picks on him he comes home and complains about her. She will get him in trouble for talking when it wasn't even him talking and it was th kids around him. She also complained about property damage because he found a balloon in her room and kicked him out for that. After moving from a nearby district, we were amazed by the level of support our family received—something we hadn’t experienced before. Our kids have both made tremendous growth academically and socially since enrolling.The school community is incredibly strong, and the PTA works tirelessly to create meaningful events for families while also raising funds that directly support students, including funding additional paraprofessional staff in classrooms.The front office staff is kind and welcoming, the teachers are talented and deeply invested in their students, and the principal sets a positive, inclusive tone that’s felt throughout the school. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWas an assistant coach here and saw ignoree athletes, disrespectful parents, and arrogant faculty. Only star athletes were focused on by the head coach. I was undermined by faculty and it hamstringed my ability to coach. To top it off, they ask for me to come back ane would only pay $3000 for 4 months of full time work aka slave labor. "I used to live here for about 5 years, and it's where I bought my first home. Niwot has a compact downtown and adjacent shopping area, with an interesting blend of breakfast, lunch, and dinner restaurants within a few hundred yards of each other. The Cottonwood park west subdivision is adjacent to both areas, with a walking path to both. The homes are small, as are the lots, but laid out with privacy in mind. Most homes have direct access (back gate)to a well kept, pet friendly park, with Volleyball, basketball, and playground equipment for younger kids. Niwot schools are rated at the very top of the charts, and I selected my second home on criteria that they remain in the Niwot school district. Due to the smaller house sizes, you will find a mix of many first time homeowners,(singles and couples) and retirees, who have downsized and like the quiet country atmosphere, yet with highly walkability."

"A hidden gem in Boulder County. Top notch schools, safe neighbooods, friendly and family oriented, with convenient downtown market and shops for essentials."

"I have lived in Niwot in the past. I have worked there for 21 years. I have bought and sold homes and condos there. It is "small town living at it's best". Lots of holiday activities for families and kids. I it has great schools. The condos for sale there make great rentals."

"I moved to Niwot in 1989. It has grown since then but it has a limited amount of land to build on so there are only a few lots left. The sense of community is strong. Schools are excellent. Great location midway between Longmont and Boulder and only 45 miles from Denver and DIA make it very popular. Cute little downtown with lots of restaurants and community activities make it a fun place to live."
