This is our neighborhood school, and we gave it a chance for two years. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it if you have any option.The administration is ineffective and unprofessional. Teachers aren’t held accountable for communicating with parents. I requested a spring conference to check in on my daughter’s behavior and ask some questions. The teacher told me I should just read the report card instead.My daughter only speaks English and reads far above grade level. She spent 2.5 hours a week sitting in designated ELD (special instruction for students learning English) because they didn’t bother planning anything for English-only students during this time. When I asked the teacher about it, she refused to answer, and I had to get the district office involved. The district agreed it was inappropriate and probably illegal, and they immediately addressed it.The school is so patronizing toward parents. They say how important parent involvement is, and they put on occasional family events. However, if you truly care to know how your child is doing, you are treated like a nuisance to be handled.There are lots of nice kids, and my daughter will miss her friends. There are also some good teachers. While kindergarten was a mess, my daughter had a wonderful TK teacher.There is an abandoned shopping cart in the front parking lot of this school. It’s been sitting there for three weeks making the school look bad, and no staff member has bothered to get rid of it. I think that tells you a lot about this school and its management.

This school is Lazy, staff are lazy, I've Had a kid that went here and they was going to bathroom when they get targeted for suspiocus activity for just peeing, they treat everyone like criminals here. 100% would not recommend.
