I am a 6th grader at this school the teachers are very kind and will help you solve promblems the guidence counselor is a great help and the school has great class I have taken gym,band, an computer all teachers have been helpful and all class have been on top of things other subjects such as math, ela, science, an social studies have things plan ahead an we Lear something everyday this is the best middle school! :D

I love Southern nash high school. It is the best high school in North Carolina and because of great teachers i can be successful in my life

Due to my job, we have moved around a lot. Unfortunately this is the first time I’ve felt led to leave a review on a school before. My son attended 4th grade here, and I am going to be speaking to Nash County to see if there are ANY other options. The car pickup/drop off area is dangerous, there’s no order and the teachers that are “in charge” literally just scream at students and parents instead of coming up with a system that makes sense. The front office staff is less than friendly, and makes no effort to provide communication for incoming students and parents. The teachers seem like they don’t even want to be there and have terrible attitudes. My son, who normally loves school, dreads going to school every day because of this. He’s been to many other schools in North Carolina and he loves most of his teachers, but here he says he feels like this is what jail feels like because the staff are always in a bad mood. I hope something changes in the future.
