The leadership is horrible, principle is a tyrant. Money their is money gone. Funds are wasted on useless things like basketball courts and uniforms for sports other than textbooks and a new multipurpose building. They constantly raise the communities tax rates but never reach their goals. The education is a joke in most cases. The majority of the teachers are not literally qualified by state standards to teach. The Spanish and language program is horrible and should be redone completely. Math and History are the two best taught subjects. English is run by a politically inspired tyrant who is not afraid to bully kids into conforming to her opinion. A curriculum is not even carried out in English. Science for Freshman and up is run by an over qualified yet under motivated teacher who refuses to put an effort in on YOUR children. The FBLA and FFA programs are very highly regarded amongst the state, BUT they are half the reason the school doesn't have money and they also account for at least 75% of the problems that occur in Imbler High School. My overall consensus for Imbler High School is to seriously consider your child's opportunities AFTER high school and pick a school that will guide your kid to success. Imbler is NOT that school. The only option you can pursue is a lifetime of debt in college for a degree you didn't want. So please, if you are considering to take your child to Imbler, reconsider and reevaluate the other schools in the area.
