"Lots of fairs in the area. Ball games in the park up top of the street. More recently many fine dining restaurants have opened in the area. "
  • Brad Swavely
"Great neighborhood to raise kids. I used to live here when my parents moved from Reading. It is difficult to walk to grocery stores. It is a nice place to take a walk though. Just hard to find things to do in the community at times. My parents love it here because it is a quiet community. I would advise people interested in this community to prepare for a quiet spot to raise kids but difficult to get places on foot. "
  • Misty B.
"It’s up and coming, rebuilding it from its foundation. I’ve lived here nearly 30 years and love it. "
  • Caitlin B.
"Great school district and very family friendly town. Some events for families throughout the year. Safe neighborhood "
  • Drea M.
"Very close to turnpike (76) ramps and easy access to 272 and 222. Traffic is generally manageable to nonexistent on the local roads."
  • Caolsavsky
"Very close to the turnpike. Easy access to 30, 222, 422. Can get to Reading, Lancaster, Harrisburg and Philadelphia easily. "
  • Drea M.
"Many people have dogs, and most keep their dogs properly leashed or fenced. Besides farms, not many roaming at large. Overall dog friendly."
  • Trulia User
"It’s nice here. Beautiful county side. People keep their properties tidy. There is low crime. Wet little litter and people are nice. Great community "
  • Olga N.
"quiet town with mom and pop shops. good school district, nice parks and right off the Turn Pike. easy commute to Lancaster or Reading."
  • Shellycharlie1425
"Just move here its ok pefer wernersville better denver ok no park close by. wernersville there was three but we had to drive we lived in country and here to we live in suburban area but still no park"
  • Clmstyle143
"Great family oriented communities. Good schools and low crime. Small town values but not everyone knows your business. "
  • Austin N.
"they're kewl kats. the actual cats that roam around the neighborhood are pretty chill too. but yeah, the people themselves are nice and give me candy when its Halloween. "
  • Charleswickers
"No crime and it’s pretty quiet. Neighbors seem to be friendly for the most part and the neighborhood is well kept."
  • J w.
"It's a great commuter community. Easy access to the turnpike makes it convenient for a lot of areas."
  • Jennifer S.
"I lived here for almost a yr and its a great experience the people r very nice and respectful the schools r really great willing to work with the parents on what the child needs and the learning experience is very exceptional"
  • Julia T. M.
"I live here in Brookview NORTH At Adamstown. Not a good place for kids at all. As soon as a couple start a family, the "For Sale" sign goes up quickly. Can't count how many come and go. No place for kids to play. Most Townhomes here have no yard at all. Best for older folks, retirees, and empty-nesters. Overall, "Average" best suits Brookview NORTH At Adamstown, in my opinion. Also, we are in no way a part of Brookview ESTATES At Adamstown. We are a Townhome community."
  • Jesse W.
"Great area with low taxes in comparison with other counties and school districts!"
  • Christina
"I live in the area and it is absolutely beautiful. There is so much to do and see, and it is a great place to raise a family. You are only minutes from the PA turnpike. It is 1 hour to Philly and it is located right between Lancaster and Reading so you have the conveniences of both. I love it here especially because you have the peacefulness and serenity of Lancaster county as well as the fresh organic produce in the summertime. There are also a ton of farms to buy hormone free meat, milk and eggs. Very important when raising a family! "
