Some of the staff in that school treats the kids like they are dogs. Kids get detention for standing up in class without the teachers permission. The school also don’t care about the kid’s mental heath at all. "Great place to walk your dog. Safe and clean. The police are kind. Very easy to travel to Boston or Providence. Very quiet neighborhood. Lots of amenities and restaurants. Just needs a hospital. Downtown area is nice and definitely feel a sense of community. "

"Norwood is too expensive, and there is no public transportation for newcomers and low-income individuals. It lacks public agency offices and is a conservative city with no diverse community activities."

" I live in Norwood, Massachusetts, and I really enjoy this town. It’s a quiet, welcoming place, perfect for those who want a peaceful environment while staying close to Boston. The location is very convenient—about a 30-minute drive to downtown Boston—and public transportation works well, especially with the Franklin commuter rail line connecting Norwood directly to the city. One of the things I love most about living here is the balance between convenience and community. Norwood Center has plenty of restaurants and shops, so I rarely have to travel far to find what I need. Additionally, the local parks are great for relaxing, walking my dogs, or just spending time outdoors. Norwood is also undergoing some significant developments. The Norwood Hospital is currently being rebuilt, and it’s going to be huge when completed. In the meantime, there are excellent hospitals in neighboring towns, like the one in Needham, which is a reliable alternative. Another great benefit of living in Norwood is its proximity to Westwood, where the Amtrak Acela and Northeast Regional trains depart for New York City. This makes traveling to NYC incredibly convenient for either work or leisure, as it’s only a short drive from Norwood to the Westwood station, offering fast and comfortable trips to one of the most vibrant cities in the world. Although the cost of living is high, as is common in Massachusetts, I think Norwood offers a good balance of affordability and quality of life compared to nearby towns. Traffic can get busy during rush hours, especially because of the proximity to major highways, but it’s manageable. If you’re looking for a place close to Boston with a small-town feel, great amenities, and access to both local and nearby services, Norwood is an excellent choice."
