My son graduated from SCCS with a Regents Diploma after being found to have a learning disability found by the school. I have nothing but praise for the staff and teachers here!!

Silver Creek is my alma mater. I am now a teacher, elsewhere. I go back every now and then to visit old teachers and for sports events. I have also substitute taught at Silver Creek (elementary, middle and high), along with a broad range of other schools. I can say that, growing up in Silver Creek, my peers often spoke poorly of the school. At the time, I saw nothing wrong with the school, but teenagers have a way of bashing their school regardless of its quality. In my opinion, parenting has a lot more to do with a child's adolescent experience than anything. Your son or daughter will spend, on average, 13 percent of waking hours in school by age 18. That means 86 percent of children's time is spent out of school, mainly at home. Coming back to Silver Creek after experiencing many other schools has enlightened me on the following: the facilities are newer and better than most, the cafeteria is unbelievable, and the teachers are absolutely unmatched. Silver Creek, as a school district, is fantastic. Any weariness of sending a child to this school should be due to the community in which it is placed, which is very unfortunate. This school has all the potential in the world and I hope that it one day meets that potential. I succeeded in this school and my experience was more than enjoyable. I thank the school leaders and staff for their continued efforts.

This school's great because we not only have the best teachers, and unbelievable support staff, a wonderful principal with an awsome secretary principal, we have the best student body ever!!
