I hate to say it but our daughter was poorly served by the culture of this particular school. Aside from an excellent graphic design instructor, the rest of the faculty was emotionally distant in meetings and administrators were consistently aggressive often yelling at my daughter for transgressions that could be not be fully explained when we followed up.Her last day was spent with a faculty member in a club that celebrated Latin American cuisine. An administrator barged in, screamed at her, and walked out. The faculty member turned to her and said, "I'm sorry that should not have happened."It took a year and a half to shake off this experience and I feel like we let her down by sending her here.

My kids enjoyed the school most the kids were friendly and social teachers seem to like them a good deal they worked well with my daughter who had a ADHD and dyscalcula honestly there were some whiny at a state kids that like to stir up mess but they were quickly addressed by the student body overall my experience this past years has been very pleasant.

If your child goes to Freedom Shores Elementary, hope she never has a teacher called Patricia Puente. She’s a kindergarten teacher who does not standby her words, her actions are misleading and unfair. Wish these public schools will put cameras in the classroom so parents can observe what really goes on behind closed doors. She bullies my child and I have brought this up to the principal and nothing has happened. If kindergarten is too much for Puente, maybe that shouldn’t be the grade she needs be teaching. She acts as she’s an angel and a kind person, but she’s really a grinch with sharp pointy teeth.
