"Very rural, no sidewalks, need a vehicle to travel. Not much as far as for kids to do, some parks here and there. Property taxes are high in NJ overall. Schools in the area are pretty good, so that's a plus. "

"Welcome to the part of NJ we keep a secret! Located in nortwestern Sussex County, Wantage is for families who enjoy nature and recreation. We are less than a 30 minute drive to skiing, multiple golf courses, state/federal parks and recreation areas, hiking, hunting and fishing. On a clear night, the sky lights up with more stars than you've ever seen. In addition to the public schools, there are private alternatives nearby. Quiet township roads to wander on and a superb county road system are well maintained all year. "
