"my neighborhood is car dependent. public transportation is slow or it doesn't exist. you always have to use your car to go everywhere. I never see people walking because everything is geared toward drivers. it is still a nice area to raise a family"
  • Trulia User

"I live about 1/2 mile from the mall. And near Route 38. The noise from the highway is crazy. It’s convenient but can’t wait to get some breathing room. A nice quiet cul-de sac. With woods around. "
  • Trulia User
"everyone has a dog around here and most owners walk them around. most are well behaved; we also have a dog park near by. "

  • Ericakanson
"There is low crime and a good amount of children in the area. It is a very family oriented place to live. "
  • Iris W.
"we don't have a doggie park close to us anywhere. so you can't be social or get to know a recommend doggie sitter."
  • Debbieshop54
"The area is good if you are in a family oriented neighborhood. Apartment living is not so amenable to neighborly interaction!"
  • Debbiesight
"Almost everyone seems to like dogs whether they own them or do not. I may be an exception because my dogs are unique to this area and quite beautiful (Samoyed & Cairn) and I keep them well-groomed and well-behaved and people actually pull over when driving to get out to see them. But, we all ask about our dogs and talk to each other and help kids not to be afraid. It works, too!"
  • Coachmonark.estatenm
"I lived here for almost 2 years ,it’s a beautiful peaceful place to live.great school and many activities for children and teens"
  • Designresource323
"Unfortunately there are no sidewalks on this street, and although the speed limit is 25 mph, the cars usual travel at a speed of 55 mph. I wouldn’t recommend walking or letting children walk down this street."
  • Mtuck
"I've lived in this community for the past 15 years and I have nothing but great things to say about it. Close to every store you can imagine. Good Schools! Close to Philly and great highway access for long commuters."
  • Deborah L
"I am Disabled & need a ride for everything! The Sen-Tek Bus has openings - but will not wait. So, if I need to go to the Bank or Drugstore to pick up scripts - then I must wait there 90 minutes for a return ride. Plus, groceries cannot go on in bags but must be contained in one unit that can be seat-belted in. Life like this is hard when single & 65 & Disabled!!!"
  • Gma1257
"I've lived In this neighborhood for 10 years. it's close and convenient to 38, 70 and 73. it is also close to approximately 10+ Full Service Restaurants and another 10+ Fast food restaurants as well as the Mall and other Shopping centers. "
  • Tweedypierre
"I live very close to route 38 and 70. I go to school in Blackwood and its easy to get on the highway"
  • Marta B.
"I’ve lived here for years.... I recommend this area if you enjoy peace. It’s perfect for young or older families"
  • Kanada7524
"Great community where everyone is friendly and looks out for one another. There a lot of young couples with children which makes having your own even easier. Kids are playing on the streets and families are walking around constantly. What is so special is how everyone cares about their house front and is conscientious of each other’s property. Great place to be near everything but secluded. "
