About this House

Nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac, surrounded by multi-million dollar properties, this home is a rare offering in Margate. At 3,800 sq ft, this 4-bdrm, 3.5 bth home offers many areas for entertaining. Its unique layout centers an open staircase. The 1st floor features a marble entry that leads into a formal living room with an informal seating area just beyond. The open kitchen features white cabinetry and connects to the dining room. The new screened-in porch overlooks the pavered rear yard, where a pool with a hot tub and a fully enclosed outdoor shower will lead to hours of summer fun. A bonus den with a gas fireplace and a nearby powder room round out the 1st floor. Ascend the open staircase to the spacious primary bedroom with a walk-in closet and en suite bth. 3 additional secondary bdrms surround the double-height foyer. 2 secondary bedrooms, one of which features an en suite bathroom, lead onto a sunny deck. A 3rd secondary bdrm is steps from a full bth off the hallway. New carpeting covers the second floor, which also features the home's laundry room. Despite being steps away from the only public bay access in Margate, this home sits well above the floodplain. The home was recently redone with Hardie Board siding and Azek, a maintenance-free exterior. A 1 car garage is attached to the home, but 2 driveways with tons of parking space wrap around the front of the property. A new furnace, new flood vents, electric car plug-in and a vacuum system are all bonus details. 2021-12-15

"Public transit needs to be more accessible year round. Although mainly a shore town let's not forget about the local residents, businesses and employees that rely on commute."
  • caroline bird
"Nothing makes this place special. Its is a very odd neighborhood and I don’t recommend anyone moving here"
  • rlh1717
"my wife and i settled in Margate in 1977.... we have raised 2 children, now professionals, and we still love the bay life, the smell of the fresh air, the sound of the seagulls in the morning, the marvelous sunsets, the outdoor barbeques after an afternoon of boating, watching the magnificent starry nights along with the beautiful casino lights in Atlantic City and of course afternoon and midnights swims in our wonderful pool......"
  • Rita S.
"Margate is a great little town. There are great restaurants, large beaches, and the Greenhouse next to Lucy is the best!"
  • Adamj.bpc

"Not my neighborhood but live a few towns over. Great place for dinner. Clean, nice, safe. We come here for dinner a lot. I would like to live here but not a lot of jobs and pricey. "
  • Drderosa
"Clean, people respect each other, local dog parks. Dogs cannot go on the beach in margate, but can go to ventnor or longport."
  • Jabbot
"Quiet family oriented ocean side community. Very near exciting Atlantic City. Town clises up when weather turns cold."
  • Eli_1962
"July 4th fireworks in the beach is so fun, safe, families together with children, no alcohol allowed. "
  • Margaret
"Our town is a very beautiful resort area without the commercial craziness. Beautiful public schools, parks, roads and community centers"
  • Tom K.
"N Gladstone has potential for great neighbors, and is a short walk from the grocery store, liquor store, and Boca.. in the warmer weather taking a stroll to tomato’s, Maynard’s, or Lamberti’s is easily reached in under 30 mins. "
  • GetMeOutOfHere
"Margate is very quiet in the off season, and absolutely 100% tourist town in the summers. So expect it be crowded, VERY CROWDED in the summers. The homes are extremely overpriced, this is not a place younger families are moving into due to the cost of living being so high. Rentals are very difficult. Unless you want a furnished winter rental, as most use their homes in the summer or rent it out for even more money, it is a safe quiet place to live. In the OFF season that is. Definitely a small town where everyone knows your business. If you are middle class do not expect your kids to fit in. It’s more for the rich and older people. "
  • Bill M.
"You can walk your dog on the beach in the off season. There are many good places to walk your dog seeing Margate Is very pedestrian friendly it is a nice place for walking your dog. "
  • Stephanie B.
"My neighborhood is safe to walk in, has great public transportation, and I have my own car as well. "
  • Mconnor
