The principal here currently is the worse that I’ve ever dealt with! From what I have seen Matthew Baer does not care for students. I’ve heard that so many kids get bullied at this school and he does not even care to help. The teachers are great but multiple students have agreed that he picks and chooses kids to disrespect based on who they hangout with which is is very selfish. These poor students deserve better than this especially when it comes to bullying and harassment. Worse middle school ever. The vice principal is very respectful and cares for kids well being. He tries to help instead of being bias and disrespectful. Let’s all agree that Matthew Baer should be fired from the district!

I used to be a student at forest grove before I went to middle school and I loved it there. I went to forest grove preschool through 5th grade. The teachers are amazing and since we are a small school we can get more one on one help we needed to succeed in every subject. Even though we are a public not christian school our principle still prays at our Christmas and memorial day programs which a lot of people love. Our school also has other events family members can join in, for example the walk-a-thon, thanks giving feast, fun night, holiday parties and 5th grade graduation. Forest grove is my favorite school I have seen!

Two of our three children graduated from Hudsonville Schools. We would never suggest that it is a perfect district. However, the leaders continue to push for higher standards for the entire student body. Both of our graduates continued onward to university and did very well.
