"I take the train in. I can walk to the train so it’s convenient. Otherwise, I drive. It’s a great place to live and I recommend it to anyone commuting to the city. The drive is more difficult but doable if commuting in off hours. "

"Easy walk or drive to commuter rail; 50 mins to Boston on train, 30 mins via car with no traffic, 60-90 mins during rush hour"
  • Marshunda
"There is absolutely NO diversity in the neighborhood. No ethnic or economic diversity. The schools may be good, but the teachers can't afford to live in the area. The majority of the best teachers live at least 20 minutes away."
  • Tracey H.
"What a GREAT place to live and raise a family! Close to everything life has to offer and terrific people to share life with!"
  • Tracey H.
"If you like small town New England, close to lake and beaches, nature preserves and parks, as well as malls and commuter routes, less than 25 miles to Boston that is safe, beautiful, natural, excellent schools, and intelligent interesting people you'll love Wenham!!"
  • Cara
"We've lived in wenham for almost 8 years and we couldn't be happier. Although it's small, it's very easy to get to and near everything. My family loves the small community and they can bike ride to all their friends houses. Also all the shops are adorable and the downtown hamilton is about a minute or two away if you prefer to shop there since it has a decent amount of more shops. We also love looking out at all the beautiful forests wenham has to offer when we wake up. In the winter driving down all the tree lined roads is just gorgeous. Personally and i'm sure my husband will agree moving to wenham was one of the best decisions we've made as a family. We loved beverly, but it wasn't a good fit for us. It reminded us from the city (Seattle) life we were trying to get away from. Wenham was completely different, which was what we were looking for. It wasn't all industrial buildings, train stations, hundreds of bus stops, busy roads my kids were scared to cross, and even though we love shops, there's so many my husband started to complain i shop to much. Beverly just reminded us to much about all that. We needed a change from the city and wenham was perfect for that. Less is more I say, so i think the smaller town the better. You have a chance to get to know every body since it's such a small community and i've made so many more than i've ever had in beverly since it's just so big i don't even think we saw all of it in 4 years. Moving to wenham was definitely perfect for us and i think we're going to be spending a very long time here."
