One of my parents attended BSES, I attended BSES and I am now a parent of a child currently attending this school. There is no other school in this state that I feel more comfortable sending my child to than this one. The school is located in one of the safest neighborhoods one could ask for. The teachers and staff overall are kind and genuinely care about the students, they're not just numbers and test scores. Some of them are strict but fair, and just like at any other school, children are taught that there are consequences for their actions, whether positive or negative. Though, in my experience, they generally prefer to lead with positive reinforcement. The current principal is a stern but kind and caring man and is more than willing to talk and cooperate with students and their parents when needed.When my child first started going there I had some concern about her speech, but through patience from her teachers and a speech tutor she has made amazing progress. The experience that I had at that school growing up was overall a positive one that I have many fond memories from, and that nurturing environment remains the same today.
