Certain areas are even open for Fishing in all seasons, and Hunting under special regulations. Just a few miles to the east of the property is the all-sports Big Manistique Lake. This 10,130 acre, 20 foot deep, lake is the 7th largest in the State of Michigan. Here you can enjoy jet-skiing, swimming, boating, water skiing, pontoon boat rides, and tubing. This lake is known for Walleye, and Northern pike! Minutes away is access to the 38-mile long Curtis Multi-Use State Trail that connects to hundreds of miles of trail groomed by the Curtis Area Chamber of Commerce. Their snowmobile trail system branches out in every direction and connects with the myriad of other trails. The beautiful Log Lodge is located on a bend of the Manistique River and is surrounded by mature woodlands. It has recently been used by the Family, as well as Vacation Renters. The home can sleep 12 comfortably. The main floor features an Open Concept Living Area featuring a Sitting Area, Dining Area, and fully equipped Kitchen. The Sitting Area is graced with a large stone surround with a LP gas fireplace insert, natural wood walls, with a soaring ceiling.
