i agree with the other review. the teachers are committed and the kids are mostly equal. the middle school is a good place to go before high school, as compared to other nearby middle schools, houston has a much more friendly and unbiased environment which has helped my child in high school. compared to children from other middle schools, most houston kids will be friendlier. although it always does depend on the child, at houston, you have a chance to have a few more safe years for the discrimination of high school sets in. and that, in the long run, will be a good thing.

Lodi high has great staff but with a worst school principal and worst teaching strategy. I was part of class of 2011 and had the worst k-12 experience. The school has no taste, does not motivate students and doesn't do much to interact with students who might be introvert. The school could do much better with its facility because there were at times when it rained, the ceilings of outside verandas were leaking.

They make Bad decisions, continously changing long term substitutes, I feel that what my daughter's learning is below what other 1st grade classes are teaching.
