Within a two block walking distance, there are three Pentagon buses that run off Old Keene Mill daily or you can catch the one that runs down Greeley (this stop is visible from the house).
Within a ten minute drive, you have the Metro, Trader Joe's (near the major interstates off Old Keene Mill) Giant, and Whole Foods (in the direction towards Burke) lots of restaurants. There's a huge gym with a daycare, churches, day schools, international markets, Target...anything you might need within a 10 minute drive.
Home Layout:
The house is split-level, meaning you walk in on the bottom floor with the bottom back half partially underground. On the bottom level is the foyer with large coat closet and hardwood stairs (11 steps). Off to the right side is a dividing door with a glass door knob that leads to the garage (two car length longways) and the mother-in-law suite that includes a full bathroom and private room. On the left side of the Foyer is the first living room with a dormant fireplace and wood mantle. In the back side of this room is your large laundry room with ample storage area.
If you follow the stairs up, you will see your second living room with dormant fireplace and an outset bay window. The dining room is directly ahead next to the kitchen. Past the dining room is the sunroom that leads out to the backyard (level with the ground).
There is a lovely closed-in sunroom. There is a beautiful pergola on the backyard porch that is covered in aged wisteria. The backyard is completely fenced, including a dog run on the side with the kitchen door.
To the right of the stairs, down the hall on your left is the smallest bedroom that sits across from a full bath. Further down the hall on your right is the master bedroom and master bath. A third bedroom upstairs is on the left.

Lots of remodeling was done in 2016: new master bathroom, new mother-in-law suite bathroom, all new kitchen appliances, all new floors downstairs, all new plumbing downstairs, new sewer pipes from under the house up to street, new walls and paint with baseboards in every room downstairs, new laundry room with 2014 LG front loading washer/dryer, and backyard landscaping with wood fencing. Also in 2017, the house was treated and installed with permanent, preventative measures to keep any rodent or birds from ever entering the home, both through the roof or foundation.
