A once high perfoming school system providing students with many opportunites has been replaced by one that is a shell of its former self. Staff complacency and administrator complacency run rampant. You will be okay if your child is an accelerated academic student, many others will fall through the cracks. It’s still going through some transition being a new school - awkward phase. The homework was a bit excessive for a 1st grader in my opinion.
