"Neighbors are friendly, lived here for over 20 plus years. That's about the best thing I can say about living here in Sandy Hill/Summer Street. The food is amazing as well. Unfortunately, there's never parking and loud music is always playing. At times, there will be music coming from every direction. And its LOUD, so loud that your house starts shaking. It's not the safest area but its not so bad either. It really depends. Shootings do happen and robbery as well just not as frequent. The roach infestation is awful in some areas. Its difficult to live in a home/apartment with that much going on. "

"During Peak hours there is a lot of traffic especially in the highways. Local buses are the best way to commute if you work in the city"
  • K.J
"It’s just not a good place to live in, there’s always sketchy people around especially at night. It’s very loud and just not an area you would want to live in."
  • Jalynn Mendez
"Just un safe neighborhood to live in. Lived in Paterson for decades and it’s getting worse! Wish there would be some positive change but nope just rent is higher. Crime is higher "
  • Daisy M.
"Always maintain communication with your children because their are bad things that so many other kids are involved in and good kids get into by association, this is a fast city."
  • Paolette J.
"Not a nice place to live. A lot of noise during the weekends. Not reliable parking your car outside, and even inside of your house, once somebody broke my cars window. "
  • Lizmara25
"Has lots of crime and isn’t safe to live in. . "
  • Elizabeth F.
