Sunset Elementary has been the best elementary school in Moffat County for years. But, this August significant changes were made and now what used to be a school filled with the laughter of parents and children, has been transformed into a jail like cold, asylum. Mr. Allen used to make it a warm and friendly enviroment. He cared about the kids. Now the principal and secretary could care less. You never see the new principal at any event or even at the school it seems. I just wish that it felt more like a place for children and not an ice box. Get another good principal in there, and Sunset will be back on top.

"Very little to offer in way of recreation and dining. The town has a very hard time supporting many types of businesses since many people work in Steamboat Springs, or are getting ready to leave the area due to less work becoming available that would pay the bills."

"Craig is a wonderful community to raise a family. The people here are friendly and quick to lend a hand. There is an abundance of outdoor activities to enjoy year round. I’ve been proud to call the Yampa Valley my home for the last 22 years. "

"This is a ranching community. Dogs are welcome everywhere. You can take your dogs inside all stores and there are lots of parks to play"

"Great parks. Town has a public wave pool. Can live cheaply in this town. Close to steamboat springs. Lots of cool activities for the whole family especially in the summer "

"been living here for 6 months. Craig is affordable in costs of living. however nearly everyone drives to steamboat to work which makes the roads a little dangerous. commute times is one hour each way. might renew my lease in march"

"I’ve lived her my entire life, nearly 40 years now. Not much has changed, yet everything is different. I loved being a teenager in Craig but there are limited opportunities for adults , or for single mothers with nothing but a history. It’s a small town."
