My son has been at SJH since 6th grade and is currently an 8th grader. He has had a great experience at school and in athletics. The teachers I've encountered have all been friendly and helpful. Plenty of opportunities for extra support are available for those that want/need it. The school is clean and has a lot of great technological resources. My son has not experienced bullying at school, and the kids I have encountered have seemed nice. The school demographic does seem to be diverse as well (something that is important to us). The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and very family oriented. Overall, we are very happy to live here and have our son enrolled at SJH.

Some of my teachers barely teach. They just say “ do it yourself” or won’t help us until we get our notes out. Freeman also doesn’t have many classes for other job opportunities. The counselors don’t even do anything, and when they do they just mess it up. Also not to mention, people fight A LOT in this school and the school just gives warnings. They finally did something about it. The school doesn’t tell us everything we need to know too. Go guardian blocks websites that I actually need to do my work but it still gets blocked. It puts a limit on how many tabs we have too. Some teachers are really mean and rude to their students. Some even might say offensive things to their students. And along with that, other teachers don’t even know what they are teaching. How are the students supposed to learn when the teachers can’t even teach? The busses have become too crowded and there are sometimes 3-4 people in one seat. I feel like this school doesn’t give us enough resources to learn. The teachers don’t even know what they are teaching. How are students going to learn when the teacher can’t even teach? This school has many problems and I hope they get addressed and fixed for future students.
