6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school pick and choose who they allow to bully and get away with it. If you’re black or mixed race please have your kids in self defense classes. They will do everything to cover their behinds. The white lids feel privilege and think they can bully the 9th grade black kids. The principal has her favorites and you best believe she will tear your kids as if they were wrong even when they defend themselves from the bullies that come to your kids classrooms or follow them to their classroom and make threats. 10 to 12 white boys from this school came to my neighborhood to jump my sons whom are mixed race.y boy had to defend himself because they wasn’t going to stop until he do. The bullies were 16, 17 and 18 that bullied my 15 years old sons. This school is full of racist bullies.Parent Review2mo ago17 Reviews - R. Dan Nolan Middle School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSuch a great school. My daughter loved it here, she was excited to go every day and she had no negative experiences. She made friends, learned so much, and it truly was a pleasure to have had her attend. We moved, but we will never forget her short time at this school. It definitely left a positive impact on her education! Also, her teacher was Mrs. Ison (2nd grade) and she was truly wonderful. Very communicative and supportive.Other Review1y ago22 Reviews - Check out schools near 7734 US Open Loop.

"Place is crammed and over developed but go ahead move here and don’t complain after it takes you 45 minutes to drive to Publix which is 3 miles down the road.. there is a stop light every 100 yards… did I mention traffic and terrible drivers? Homes are built 2 feet away from each other 🥴"

"I have lived in Lakewood Ranch for five years. It’s a great place and a great community. Always something to do, close to Sarasota and Tampa if you can’t find something here."

"I work from home so I don’t have to commute. The number of walkers and bikers is large and it’s a great neighborhood fir that. As far as commuting goes—metro transit service is not great here. You must own a car to get around and traffic is extremely bad in winter due to the influx of visitors and seasonal residents."
