I attended this school as a student and graduated in 2010, and now my son is currently enrolled. Unfortunately, the bullying culture has not changed at all. Teachers often overlook it and, in some cases, even participate in it.Serious complaints are routinely downplayed or hidden by the administration. Parents are rarely informed when incidents occur, and families are not allowed to review camera footage, even when there are safety concerns. This makes it nearly impossible to hold anyone accountable.The current superintendent, who previously served as the elementary school principal, has a long-standing pattern of playing favorites with certain teachers and families. During her time as principal, she consistently sided with girls over boys, even when the boys were not at fault. That same bias and lack of transparency continues today.Bullying was handled poorly when I was a student, and it is being handled just as badly now. The overall culture of the Forsyth school system is toxic, dismissive of real problems, and unsafe for kids who are targeted. Because of this, we are leaving the district to place our son in a healthier, more supportive school environment.
