Description

This rental is a freestanding house with a single car garage and off street parking for one additional car. It is located at 7655 High Avenue. High Avenue is strolling distance to the cove, the supermarket, the elementary and high schools, the Sunday food fair, and to all that the Village has to offer. It was built in about 1940 and has 1940s charm. The kitchen and bathroom were just completely renovated with some marble in the bathroom and quartz counter tops in the kitchen. All the kitchen appliances are new. There are 2 bedrooms, one of which is 8' by 10' and suitable for a young child or a study. In both bedrooms, the closets span the length of one bedroom wall. In the master bedroom, there is a fandelier, a chandelier with retractable blades so that it can become a ceiling fan as desired. There is also a walk-in closet. Outside the front door, there is a private grassed area (about 30' by 15'), a perfect place to relax or for a child to play and a slate patio (about 32' by 9') for your BBQ and patio furniture. The main room has a cathedral ceiling and spans about 23 feet by 14 feet. It serves as a living room and dining room. The floors are all tile. There is a laundry area adjacent to the kitchen with full size washer and dryer and a one car garage and with a driveway which has room for a second car. This is a cheery, beckoning home. People tend to move in and stay for years and years. One tenant lived here for 17 years leaving only when he retired. Please contact me by email if you wish to see it. The lease is for a minimum of 1 year with a longer lease preferred. Although we love dogs, we may give preference to those who do not have dogs or other pets because of all the renovations and the rent with pets is $3150. We are also environmentally conscious and so use nontoxic cleaning fluids, paint, and fertilizer whenever possible.

Tenant responsible for all utilities including water. Landlord pays for gardener, Credit score of 700 or higher is required. Lease is for a minimum of 1 year. Preference may be given to people willing to sign a longer lease.
