I personally live on a farm with similar access, and it's invaluable. No one has a use for the road other than yourself and a small number of neighbors.Multiple quality deer are currently calling this farm home, along with a large population of turkeys. One look at the timber along the river and a turkey hunter should be pretty excited. The timber is made up of white oak, red oak, various age classes of cedars, cottonwoods and a variety of other tree species. Whether you're an archery or rifle hunter the table is set to allow just about any method of hunting you so desire.There are approximately 40 acres of crops currently in production and currently on a crop share arrangement with a local farmer. The crop ground is made up predominantly of Lanton Silty Clay Loam and Verdigris Silt Loam, all combined, showing an NCCPI Bean index of 60. The fields are large enough to appeal to the farmers and ensure you hold plenty of deer and turkey. Having the farmer leave a few acres of standing grain could make for an unforgettable late-season hunt when considering all of the bedding areas on the property. The sky is the limit for what this farm could become with strategically placed feeders, food plots, and stand locations.
