"I view Colora as apart of rising sun when it comes to community events but there’s plenty of yard sales, car shows/craft shows/ vendor events at the fire department"
  • Rrwilson26
"Limited walking areas, but very beautiful, very quiet people are friendly, close to a dog park. Pet store in town "
  • Samantha J. .
"I don’t live in a neighborhood. I live on a farm. But dog lovers would love the area. It’s roads are scarcely busy and the stop lights have zero wait time. "
  • Thad
"The area has a country feel with the farms surrounding the area and several small towns. Water access, activities and camping are within 15-20 miles, a quick drive. The area is safe, calm and laid back. The large cities are about an hour drive away. The area is readily accessable via major interstate and pentiful smaller routes."
  • Slmjm9
"If you want peace and quiet, this is the place. I lived here for 3 years and I've not found a more peaceful place yet. The neighbors were nice and glad to help out when you need anything. It's quiet with the exception of a horse baying or a rooster crowing now and then. It is within commuting distance to Wilmington, DE by car and Baltimore, MD by train. I worked in Washington, DC when I lived there but I don't recommend that commute. The Amtrak station is only about a 10 minute drive away. The trade off is there is no public transportation and a trip to the grocery store is about a 6 mile drive. But there are only 2 red lights on the way! You can drive for miles and not see a red light. It is close to shopping in tax free Delaware. Pennsylvania Dutch Country is within a half hour drive. I highly recommend this area if you want to get away from the urban sprawl of Baltimore, Philadelphia or Delaware."
