"Children are safe here and will enjoy their childhood in this neighborhood. It is safe to walk and bike around here. Make sure to watch for potholes though! "

"There is a great neighborhood vibe in Lakevista. Most people can be seen walking or hanging out in the parks behind their houses with other families and community members. SPX school has their School Fair and Halloween Fest. You can also walk to Greek Fest. The Lakefront is behind the neighborhood and Bayou St. John and City Park are within biking/walking distance. "
