"Itโ€™s quiet and safe with great schools. There is a lot to do outdoors. And itโ€™s easy to commute from. No nightlife but Clinton and flemington are super close. It costs a lot to life here but seems to be well worth it "
  • Lauren.kane0317
"Lots of space and room for dogs to roam. Must be careful of foxes and coyotes in the evenings at time "

  • Donna H.
"Friendly neighborhood, easy access to public transportation, good shopping,, pool & recreation, good schools, well maintained neighborhood."
  • Love
"I live in Union Gap Village just about a mile from downtown Clinton, NJ. The village has undergone many updates (new roofs, paver patios,all-weather carpet, siding, garage doors). The landscaping is being updated steadily to update the look of the village. The dues are kind of high (308.00 a month) however they include everything (water, sewer, snow, garbage & recycling removal, use of the tennis courts, pool, & basketball courts. Basically it's maintenance free living which would be good for young busy professionals, singles, retirees, divorcees, newlyweds (for a starter home) & anyone looking for a quiet & easy life. Since most of the units have 1 or 2 bedrooms, it's nice to know that with some notice one can rent the clubhouse for entertaining larger groups (the clubhouse is roughly 2300 square feet and has a kitchen, a dance floor, big screen TV, iPod dock & stereo system, loads of extra chairs, tables couches & an open floor plan. The community is a nice mix of older residents (some original owners), young couples starting out, divorcees, empty nesters, widows/widowers & young single professionals. It's a friendly community. Downtown Clinton is about 1 mile from the village. An easy bike ride, leisurely walk (past a few scenic ponds & loads of wildlife), or short car ride to the quaint & adorable downtown Clinton. Clinton has a by-gone charm with an lovely yellow truss iron bridge spanning between two museums (The Red Mill and the Hunterdon Art Museum), corner, & riverside cafe's & restaurants, a Belgian chocolatier, a French-style cheese shop, trendy & classic clothing & jewelry boutiques, hi-fi lighting & stereo systems, gourmet restaurants (sushi, thai, mexican, italian) a book shop, pet store, florist, bakery, ice cream stores and old 5 & 10 style store with upscale Melissa & Doug toys, hair, nail & make up boutiques as well as massages/facials all in one town!. Friday nights in summer there is live music. You can also rent a canoe & see Clinton by water!"
