7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat place for opportunity and college-readiness prep if you know what you're doing. Teachers and counselors should be more encouraging with students, and lots of students here have wasted potential due to lack of interest.Student Review11mo ago - Wilson West Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSports is a big thing at this school. Education is given very less importance. Involved parents and committed students do well and the school advertises them as though it was due to their hard work. Communication with parents is very very poor or should I say Nil. They send emails and phone messages about school dances, fund raising events or for anything that needs money. But educational related like Mathcounts, Spelling Bee, Science Fair, Who wants to be Chemist or any other activities, Parents do not hear anything at all. Kids are informally told in the class about the event and not encouraged to Participate. My son as a kinder and Preschooler used to participate in Science Fair at another State and School with so much enthusiasm. But now in Middle school he doesn’t show any interest. Teachers are good but not sure why they don’t encourage students to excel and go beyond. May be they are not taken care of well by the School. Principal is very unfriendly and doesn’t even smile when he sees Parents, except when he knows them personally. Overall not very happy.Parent Review2mo ago - Green Valley El School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children and I love Green Valley. The school has a friendly atmosphere and parents are encouraged to join the Home School Association and/or become Watchdog Dads. We think it is great that the school involves parents, especially fathers, so much. My kids have had wonderful and loving teachers in grades K-2. I have seen the quality of the teaching and the caring nature of the faculty firsthand. My kids love going to school every day and have learned a tremendous amount. I am often amazed by the things my kids share at the dinner table! They are able to discuss things in a way that their older cousins who attend school in another local district cannot. I am pleased that my children are happy, thriving, and excited to learn. We cannot wait for school to start in August!Parent Review11y ago - Check out schools near 75 Cacoosing Ave.

"Absolutely nothing. I moved here because I lived among the elderly and they began moving and selling their homes after Covid. Now the neighbors are loud with music playing constantly. Outside smoking weed and using profanity all the time. Gets worse during the summer time. I cannot let my kids outside to ply because there is no respect for them as children."

"It is extraordinarily unsafe. Drug use and profiting off of those addicted to said substances are apparent to the point of being unavoidable on a daily basis. Leaving the psuedosanctity of these vermin infested buildings after eight pm is the equivalent of a suicide wish. I fear for my safety at all times."
