HHS provided my children with a great education, a wonderful environment, and have faculty and staff who love students. Now my grandchildren are receiving that same great experience Hicks High School is known for. The moment you step on campus you feel the positivity and love. Students are motivated to do their best not only in the classroom, but on the stage in musical performances, on the field and on the court. HHS leads Class B schools in percentage of HS graduates also graduating with an associate degree. This school is a wonderful place for students to attend.

I Should have read these reviews and listen to the people who went there before I moved here. This school is absolutely the worse when it comes to favoritism and definitely do not care as much as they say they do. Bullying is a thing here and everyone here turns the other cheek. I would never wish this school on anyone including my worst enemy,if I had any. Think twice before bringing your kids here to suffer.

This is not a good school the studies are always bullying and overall do not go to this school.

Steer clear if your child has an IEP/504. A 3rd grade teacher told me he prioritizes students without IEPs and the administration seems to think it is fine. We have been fight them for 2 months after finding out they "accidentally" removed my daughter from general education and acted like I should understand the mistake. My daughter is massively behind now that she was in pulled into full time special education for the first half of the year. Now she is back in general education, but struggling very badly, and they refuse to do anything to try and fix their "mistake". It has been nothing put heartache and I have watched the joy of school drain from my daughter, and i don't know if anything will ever be able to fix that. If you are military good luck, they make it very clear they only want something to do with us for the money.

Many students feel that teachers often fail to truly teach or engage with the material. Instead of offering explanations, interactive lessons, or meaningful guidance, some instructors rely too heavily on worksheets, outdated notes, or simply assigning pages from the textbook. This leaves students struggling to learn on their own without the support or clarity they need. Rather than creating an environment that encourages understanding and growth, the lack of direct instruction can make it seem like teachers are more focused on getting through the day than actually ensuring their students succeed. I do not recommend Rosepine High School if you want a genuine academic grounding.

This school is so bad. There were roaches and rats everywhere, the classrooms are dirty, the teachers don’t care about the students. 0/10. Do better.

This school has jeopardized my child’s education, and I am here to strongly advise you to bring your kid to Leesville High School.

Summary: bro basis, racism, homophobia, forced religion, sexism, verbal sexual harassment and assault, spoiled food, fights, 7 minutes of record or none, slamming desks, cursing at eachother, no emotional support, high standards, political arguments teacher to student, bullying, K ack if extra curricular activities, dismissing broken bones, weapons, favoritism, unqualified people cooking, hair in food, constant disruptions, lack of acknowledgement towards disabled students, gave my daughter depression
