"my neighborhood is well maintained. there are stores nearby and good job opportunities. also there are sports available for children."
  • Cynthia T.
"I lived out of city limits for 6 years. Kingman was once a little town with Stockton Hill Road once being two lanes and all dirt. In coming back now after a 3 year absence, I can't say I am much impressed. The drug problem is still widespread, Birdland looks worse than ever, and houses are being built as fast and as close together as possible. But where are good paying jobs? Where are cultural experiences? Where is diversity? Where is industry and city planning? Kingman has potential, but the sudden influx of those fleeing California shows the town is growing out, not up. Kingman needs long range goals to retain its new residents and attract others. I hope the next time I visit for a sustained period of time that I feel better about this town. "
  • Edie I.
"We live in downtown Kingman, I love it. Wonderful neighbors , Beal st has great shops, restaurants and art galleries. Good hiking and beautiful sunsets."

"Great Place to live very safe and quiet. Drawbacks would be the job market. Commuting is easy. Infrastructure not very well thought out but I love it here"
  • Teresamontgomery

  • Ginina I.
"It would be nice if more people would walk their dogs on leashes around the neighborhood, but everyone has fences around their property and they all keep to themselves. I wish the neighbors were more friendly around here, like they are in Las Vegas!"

"Dogs are always welcome. Friendly neighborhood, almost all dog owners. There is no problem if you are a dog owner."

"In the Butler area, it is noisy to walk your dog because all of the homes here have dogs pretty much, and so they are constantly barking. Kingman has several Dog Parks though. "
  • Amanda D.
"Dog owners like seeing multiple people walking their dogs in the neighborhood. Dog owners don't like walking their pets and being bothered by people on drugs causing commotion with others. "
  • Dzzrtrock
"too much meth. Too much pot. But is cool for an iconic Route. 66 desert town. Old businesses, Big volcanic buttes & huge lakes 30 miles away"
