Worst middle school in the U.S.A, This middle schoolhas cockroaches, rats, mouses, spiders, andmosquitoes. The water fountain comes out as yellowand brown water and roaches come out the waterfountain. DO NOT BRING UR KIDS HERE

The school is not a good school anymore. Principal Tention is not a good principal. She does not look out for the safety and well-being of students. She doesn't meet the proper goals of what a principal should be. Children have been physically attacked bullied. She does nothing she doesn't have meetings to mediate the situation. She doesn't even call the parents, it's unacceptable. Some of the teachers are good. The special ed teachers are good but they need more education on dealing with children with special needs. The school needs to be revamped.

WritingMy review comes from experiencing both sides of this school as the parent of an excellent student and the guardian of a troubled student. Over three years, I witnessed inconsistent discipline, poor communication, and a lack of accountability. While my niece often avoided consequences for serious behavior, my daughter's positive contributions, including advocating for a student government, were repeatedly overlooked. I experienced communication issues, safety concerns, and what I felt was disorganization throughout the school. My daughter graduated in 11th grade with a full university scholarship but received no recognition for being the first student to do so. I also found it difficult to communicate with school leadership, especially after raising concerns. Despite these issues, I want to recognize Elisha Dixon, Leana Glick, and Ms. Elena Canaras-Raoul, who genuinely cared about students and consistently went above and beyond to support them. Overall, while there are dedicated staff members, I believe the school needs stronger leadership, better communication, greater accountability, improved organization, and more recognition for student achievements before I could recommend it to other families.
