It has mahogany floors and a roll-up door which faces a large yard surrounded by native greenery. The container is nestled under several large oak trees and is a quiet place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the gorge. The build-out used reclaimed materials and without products containing voc's, or formaldehydes. The landscaping doesn't use pesticides or herbicides and primarily uses native plants.

The bathroom has new fixtures, a shower (no bathtub) and is tastefully decorated with subway tile. The kitchen has a propane stove, small refrigerator and bar sink (no dishwasher). The counters are made with reclaimed, old-growth Doug Fir. The propane furnace quickly and efficiently heats the space.

The bedroom is built out to accommodate a queen bed and there is an outlet and charging station in the bookshelf alongside to the bed. The bedroom and closet flooring is organic cork, a sustainable material which is softer and warmer than wood flooring. A large casement window is next to the bed, providing fresh air throughout the night or a beautiful window to watch the sunrise from.

There is private parking and a garden area. Water and electricity are provided, tenant is responsible for propane (appx $40/month) and internet (high-speed internet is available). The property is shared with another house, which is a seasonal rental during the Spring and Summer months.

This is a beautiful, quiet rental. The wood trimmed casement windows, large roll-up door and surrounding deck bring the outside beauty of the gorge into this unique living space.

No smoking or large parties. Dogs allowed, no cats.
The container is 320 sq. ft. Because of the small size it is available for single occupancy only.
