"Schools are good for Philadelphia schools and itโ€™s hardly any bad stuff to happen except near the bars or hangouts then they get alil rowdy at times so be careful about wear u move to. Overall it wasnโ€™t bad at all for the 3yrs I live there"
  • Trulia User
"Ived lived in this area since I was a toddler not trashy only near the Apartment buildings in the 6100 block of Nassau neighboors maintain it properly and always sweep up. I have seen no abandoned cars and Iโ€™m looking outside now."
  • Deborah Jackson
"The abandoned cars left on the block taking away from parking spaces. Along with the trash that is left around in the neighborhood."
  • MommT
"Easy access to all things I need. Very convenient to live in my area. The only thing that is a hinderance right now is Septa routes being cut but other than that it is easy to commute to areas around the city and in the suburb areas from where I live."
  • Trulia User
"I drive everywhere I go, traffic gets pretty bad but that would be my only complaint. It also depends on when and where you are going. "
  • Autumn L.
"The neighborhood use to be very nice and well kept. Now you practically have to call the city in order for trash to be cleaned up properly. "
  • 6d79tgkbsf
"The neighborhood is getting an uplift with new community buildings and recreational centers. I feel safe in this neighborhood and the residents keep it fairly clean. Bus service is a bit sketchy but most times itโ€™ll do"
  • 6d79tgkbsf
"Itโ€™s nice and quiet. Not the usual summer madness. Folks mind their business and try to maintain their properties. The only drawback is itโ€™s a little hilly. "
  • 8yghkzsnsg
"My neighborhood has great access to public transportation and it is short commute to downtown. "
  • Candice Smiley
"Other people in the neighborhood have dogs and clean up after them. The park isnโ€™t far and is very well lit. "
  • V
"Pretty good neighborhood. Doesnโ€™t have the best schools though. Recommend bussing your kids to a better school outside the neighborhood."

  • Nijiahdavis
"I grew up in overbrook park since i was a kid since the 2000โ€™s. Went to Lamberton, always was at the library and over the years just watched how so many things in the neighborhood transformed. It was always safe growing up here because everyone in the neighborhood knew one another and our parents knew eachother. Alot of things changed since but even then the neighborhood is still nice and upkept. I still recommend anyone to live up there.. i plan to move back"
  • Trulia User
"There are no green spaces for dogs in the neighborhood (i.e. off-leash dog parks). However, walking dogs in the neighborhood is fine. "
