Many parks and walking trails nearby, including Discovery Lake, Lake San Marcos, and Double Peak. Golf at nearby St. Mark's or St. Mark's Executive, or just stop by for a drink or dinner at the restaurants. Walking distance to St. Mark's Church. Discovery Creek development will soon provide creekside walks and sidewalks to Restaurant Row. Healthy dose of trick or treaters at Halloween! Only 8 miles from the beach and close to 78, I-15, and I-5 for commuting or heading to the airport. 10 minutes to Legoland, 20 minutes to the Safari Park, 35 minutes to downtown, but also close to nightlife in San Marcos and Encinitas.
