I would not recommend this school based on my experience. There are serious concerns that need to be addressed, starting with the bullying. It feels like bullying is either overlooked or not handled properly, which creates an environment where students don’t feel safe or supported.Another issue is that some teachers seem to push personal or political views in the classroom instead of focusing strictly on education. That’s not what school should be about, and it makes things uncomfortable for students who may not agree.There is also clear favoritism, especially toward students involved in athletics. It often feels like those students are treated differently or given more leniency compared to others, which isn’t fair.Overall, the school feels poorly managed. Between the lack of consistent discipline, questionable priorities, and overall organization, it doesn’t seem like things are being run the way they should be.Academically, the school is already performing below average compared to others in Illinois, which makes these issues even more concerning.I hope the administration takes these concerns seriously and works toward improving the environment for all students.
